Our basic policy (for at least the time being) is:

• Interest rates
  The exorbedent interest rates of credit cards, are, in essence, usary. We have philosophical and ethical questions about people being charged to spend their own money.

• Security
  The `net is still open; credit card numbers may be hacked in transmission, and also we do not wish to adopt the potential liability of being responsible for credit card numbers

• Simplicity
  Mail transactions are not subject to as high a degree of technical failure, and the costomer has a physical receipt (check or money order). Physical goods have to be shipped anyway; there is nothing wrong with orders having a tangeble, physical (on paper) existance. Also, the html/webpage programming is simpler, and thus is more robust and reliable than credit card methods.

Of course, we may change our opinion some time. We appologise for any inconvinience, but we believe that in the long run, this policy allows us to serve our costomers betterd, and also, by avoiding credit card interest rates, ulitmatly save our costomers some money. Again, sorry for any inconvinience, but we feel that in the long run this is better for all of us!~
